Points or standards, scores, missing work and term grades.
Open a class from Your classes, then Gradebook.
Two ways to grade
- Points: assignments are scored in points, grouped into weighted categories (tests, homework, and so on), with letter grades from your school’s cutoffs.
- Standards: students are marked on each standard with your school’s mastery scale. See Standards and mastery scales.
Your school chooses per grade level, and Administrators can set an exception for a class.
Entering scores
- Type scores straight into the grid. Use the keyboard to move between cells.
- Mark work missing or excused. Missing work alerts families if your school has that on.
Term grades
Near the end of a term, review each student’s term grade, add a comment, and mark it final. Families only see final grades, and only once the school releases the term.
