Teachers: your first day

1. Sign in from the invitation email and choose a password (or use Google, if your school has it on).
2. Open Home. “Needs you today” lists attendance to take, work to grade and messages waiting.
3. Take attendance from Home or the class page. See Taking attendance.
4. Set up assignments in each class. Families see them under Due. See Assignments and the Due list.
5. Grade in the class gradebook. See Gradebook basics.
6. Message a family about their child from Messages. See Messaging families.

Your classes appear under “Your classes” in the menu, each with its own color.
